ME MYSELF I

My name is Alberto Bregani, I'm 45 & I live in Milan-Italy; I'm married, got two wonderful children. I like trekking around mountains, skiing, playing piano ...taking pictures. I like good wine, good music, good books, good people too;-)

I photograph what I feel I can capture and what I feel I can transmit. I photograph with every kind of camera, with any means, with none, or with every single one of the millions of pixels that are available to us. I photograph because it’s my current way of communicating. I pray that every day my spirit will guide me so that I can express what I have seen within myself, not just on the outside

THIS WEBSITE

Almost Daily is a photo project that leads me photographing and publishing images that mostly portray one of the thousands of aspects, situations, attractions and troubles of everyday life. Shots are taken whether with a cellphone camera, film  or the most advanced digital camera. Most important thing: story.

Almost Daily can be a photo blog that is interesting, curious and fun. But it can also be dramatic, sad and troubled. Almost every day you can explore it and comment on it by coming back here. METROPOLITANIA - THE LATEST PROJECT

Metropolitania - Urban Details has been a project that led to me photographing and publishing, at least once a day, for three months, an image that portrayed one of the thousands of aspects, situations, attractions and troubles of a large city like Milan.  All this took place exclusively through the eye of a mobile phone camera and mainly in BW. Metropolitania has been exhibited/will exibit in MIlano on September 2008 in Hoepli Bookstore.The project has been reviewed and published with an online gallery on REPUBBLICA.IT  - the most important italian nespaper website - as a very special and original one
